Several Seasonal Positions on the Education, Volunteer, and Restoration teams

Organization: Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust

The Educators equip and inspire youth to be curious, compassionate stewards of nature by teaching classroom lessons, field study trips, restoration projects, and high school internship programs.

The Volunteer Specialist plays an important role engaging the people who live, work, and play in the Greenway landscape in stewardship activities to deepen connections with the natural world and improve habitat for salmon and other wildlife. Depending on the season, they lead a mix of tree planting, tree potting and invasive weed removal events

The Restoration Crew implements ecological restoration projects that focus on riparian restoration to improve habitat for threatened Chinook salmon, community restoration projects that focus on restoring open spaces in neighborhoods with less access to healthy green spaces, and supports agency efforts to minimize the impacts of noxious weeds on public and private lands.
