Seasonal Educator

The Educator contributes to the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust’s long-term goals of conservation and community engagement by helping develop an environmental stewardship mindset in the next generation of leaders. YMCA Camp Dudley Outdoor School (located near Yakima, Washington, USA) is hiring naturalists for the spring season (April 7 - June 11). $160 per day (Monday-Friday) plus room and board. As an outdoor school, we serve fifth and sixth grade students from Yakima and surrounding areas--predominantly Title 1 schools--for school day, extended day, and overnight outdoor education programs.

We provide a mix of outdoor recreation activities (hiking, canoeing, archery, low ropes, ziplining, rock climbing, gaga ball) and hands-on outdoor education stations (about trees, ecosystems, biodiversity, habitats, watersheds, environmental stewardship, cultural awareness, and more).
