Join the Association for Advancing Participatory Sciences in Portland for four exciting days of collaboration! CAPS is the premiere annual gathering of scholars, practitioners, and facilitators in the field of participatory sciences. This year’s event will take place in Portland, Oregon, May 27-30, 2025, and is your opportunity to expand and share your perspectives and skills with the broadest possible audience. 

CAPS 2025 will feature symposia, talks, collaborative discussions, and networking events, plus skills-building workshops, and field trips showcasing the unique ecosystems and projects of the Pacific Northwest. 

Oregon State University is our host organization, in collaboration with Portland State University–core sessions will be held at the downtown Portland PSU Smith Memorial Union. Special events throughout the week will take place at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, World Forestry Center, and OSU Portland Center.
