We will receive a very special presentation from Shawnell MacFarlane (Squaxin Island and Skokomish Tribe) who will share with us about a children’s book she wrote and illustrated during her recent internship with NASA’s ICESat-2 mission – called “Cosmic Connections and Arctic Traditions, A Journey of Indigenous Knowledge, Scientific Inquiry, Imagination, and Hope.”  Shawnell is currently in another NASA internship at JPL – please share broadly and join us to support Native interns at NASA!
